Sensible ways to keep cancer at bay

By observing better dietary and health habits, you can lower the risk of cancer in your life

Skin cancer is one of the most common types of cancer in Hong Kong and the risk of diagnosis is greatly increased by environmental factors, mainly sun exposure. Understanding how to protect yourself from the sun, along with identifying and monitoring skin changes can significantly reduce your risk of skin cancer.

Be SunSmart

Prolonged exposure to the sun is responsible for most skin cancers, known as non-melanoma. In Hong Kong, more than 1,000 people are diagnosed with skin cancers each year, making it the 7th* most common form of cancer diagnosed in our community.
