These are very uncertain times, while we are all focused on the current epidemic; we must not forget nearly 100 people a day are being diagnosed with cancer in Hong Kong. Robert Lo, our co-chairman at Cancer Fund, was given a cancer diagnosis 5 years ago that left him in shock. Going through the treatments was harrowing, and he experienced many blackouts, but he was able to turn to our caring team for comfort and guidance at our support centre. Our oncology nurse, social worker, and dietitian gave Robert the hope and confidence that he so desperately needed. Today, he and his wife Sally are counting their blessings as he has passed his five year survivorship.
