Kennes Yiu Dance Institute Charity Dance Show supports Hong Kong Cancer Fund

Kennes Yiu Dance Institute is organising a charity dance performance for Hong Kong Cancer Fund at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University the Jockey Club Auditorium on 6 August 2010, 8pm (Friday). This is an anachronistic evening featuring four Chinese folklore classics – “The Cowherd and the Weaver Maid”, “Flying to the Moon”, “Ballad of Mulan” and “Legend of Lady White Serpent” – retold through a blend of Latin Dance and modern Chinese Dance. These uplifting stories of faith and determination are complemented by music, props, costumes and set design elements drawn from the traditional Chinese folk culture. Tickets are available at $680, $380 & $250, part of the ticket proceeds will be donated to Cancer Fund.
