On 10th August 2024 we held an experience day at our Support Centre in Kwai Chung that was attended by over 70 donors and their friends. The day featured a guided tour of our centre, as well as heartfelt stories from two of our cancer survivor, Ms. Chan and Mr. Lam, who shared how the Cancer Fund had supported them through their diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. These personal stories highlighted the meaningful impact that donations to the Cancer Fund can have on anyone touched by cancer. The day also included a DIY sunscreen workshop and an aroma care trial for pain relief led by the centre tutor, Anita, where participants learned simple massage techniques that they were able to take home with them. Overall, the day was a great success in connecting the local community with the important work of the Cancer Fund and our frontline teams.
