Risk factors
Prostate cancer
- A family history of prostate cancer.
- A high-fat diet.

Testicular cancer
- History of cryptorchidism.
- Previous injury to the testicles.
Penile cancer
- Phimosis (excess foreskin can lead to increased risk of smegma build-up and chronic inflammation).
- History of or current sexually transmitted infections (e.g. HIV).
- Multiple sexual partners and lack of safe sex practices.
- Smoking.
Please note that these risk factors will not always directly result in men’s cancer.
