Prostate cancer

  • A family history of prostate cancer.
  • A high-fat diet.

Testicular cancer

  • History of cryptorchidism.
  • Previous injury to the testicles.

 

Penile cancer

  • Phimosis (excess foreskin can lead to increased risk of smegma build-up and chronic inflammation).
  • History of or current sexually transmitted infections (e.g. HIV).
  • Multiple sexual partners and lack of safe sex practices.
  • Smoking.

 

Please note that these risk factors will not always directly result in men’s cancer.
