Hong Kong Cancer Fund was founded in 1987 when limited resources were available to support the needs of cancer patients and their families.Over the past twenty years, we have evolved from a small support group to Hong Kong's leading organization for cancer care, delivering our philosophy of 'Care in Action'.

Working in unison with major hospitals and throughout the community, we've made an active pledge to fill the service gaps in cancer care.Our free support extends to the public, patients and families of the newly diagnosed, those undergoing treatment as well as survivors.

From pioneering the introduction of psychosocial support services in hospitals and the community, to the provision of equipment and renovation of hospital settings, or something as simple as providing an easy-to-understand booklet to the family member of a newly diagnosed patient, we are helping to minimise the overall impact of cancer.

We are also working tirelessly to bring about a new age of prevention, where the incidence of cancer is minimised.It is only through our on-going advocacy, public education campaigns and sponsorship towards cancer research that will help bring us one step closer to this goal.
