The cases of Bowel Cancer increased rapidly in recent years, ranking the second most common cancer in Hong Kong.
Doctors are expecting that it will surpass lung cancer in the next five years to become the most common cancer affecting our community.
There were 3,918 new Bowel Cancer cases in 2006, including 2,364 colon cancer cases and 1,554 rectum/anus cancer cases.
