A whole chain of sadness and despair followed when I learned that I had cancer. I lived everyday in pain. Then I came across the Sun Flower Group. With the encouragement from the social worker and the members, I became a volunteer myself. I opened up myself to my family again.

Being a volunteer brought me to realize how fragile life is. When I saw the patients suffer from relapse, I feel that my volunteer work is even more meaningful. I want to maximize the use of my time for a valuable cause, as I do not know when my disease will relapse too. I always remind myself that whether life is long or short, it is always better to live it with a big positive smile, everyday.
