I remembered the day when I was diagnosed with NPC back in the year 2000. Suddenly I felt all the fear and sadness, and I was totally lost without a direction.

I was left with only two choices under this cruel reality: either I wait hopelessly in pain, or I take the lead to fight and go for radiotherapy. I chose the latter, and when my treatment was over, I immediately joined the NPC Patient Group. The group gave me the confidence to fight cancer. It was like a pair of loving hands, bringing us from the dark forest into bright light again.
